The reason why I chose to go on a helicopter .
The reason why I want to go on a helicopter is because I will have a better view and also when you are in a boat you cannot see the top of Milford sound . When you are walking , you can see everything but it will take a very long time .

I think I have to agree with you - taking a helicopter for a ride over the Milford Sound would be pretty spectacular. It would allow you to get a good idea of how the land is shaped. My only concern would be that the helicopter might be quite noisy. I suppose each mode of transport has it's pros and cons.
Where would you fly the helicopter to after visiting Milford Sound?
